A LITTLE BIT OF BACKGROUND…

After a few years of studying Gestalt Psychotherapy and experiencing self-growth and enormous change in my life, I consciously chose to focus on doing more of the things that I love and less of the things that I ‘should.’    I love to meet and help others…

Mostly, I relish the uniqueness and variety of different relationships that evolve with my clients.

I am passionate about inspiring, motivating and supporting others in finding their own inner resources for building their strength, worthiness, self-confidence and independence in their lives.

How I overcame my own anxiety and depression

From my experience, to overcome my personal issues and bring more balance into my life I had to get in touch with my heart and my feelings first.

Through the process of my personal therapy I learnt that sharing my story with others was a powerful act in discovering and healing my “Inner Child”.  I became very aware of my childhood trauma and I was able to identify my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs. I learnt the importance of reaching for support from trusted people and through those people I practiced getting my needs met.

I also allowed myself to re-experience and grieve the emotional pain, give them an accurate name and share the grief within a safe environment and in the presence of supportive people. Over a time of a few years I was able to complete my grief work and free myself of it.

Gestalt therapy helped me to identify and experience my feelings and get connected with them. I learnt how to love, support and nurture myself. Through heightening my awareness my transformation began, which I started integrating and applying in my daily life.
